MOTOFISH POWACAGE UPGRADE PROGRAMME
Very recently, it became apparent during new Motofish PowaCage testing that rotational stress could, in some exceptional cases, cause our axles to break at a particular point.
As a result of this, we are offering you a free service/healthcare check of your PowaCage and an upgrade to a new stainless steel axle (on models purchased before March 9th 2026) and new bearing blocks (on all models), which have been proven to significantly reduce stress.
This is a completely free service and we do recommend you take part.
We can do this repair at a time to suit you. Here is the process.
- We ask you to box up your PowaCage including the wheels. You can use bubble wrap and wrapped carboard if needed, but we do need you to protect your property through the courier system.
- We do not need the battery or charger, or throttle.
- Once wrapped, notify us when you would like it collected by calling 01780 407470 (Mon-Thurs 9am-4.30pm; Friday 9am-12.00noon) or email info@motofish.co.uk .
- We will require your name, address, email address, phone number and ideally 2 dates when collection is convenient.
- We will then make arrangements for the collection (Mon-Fri). Please give us at least 48 hours' notice to organise.
· Your PowaCage should be away for no more than 5 working days, probably less, then returned to you.
Please note, if you have purchased a full trolley from us, we only need the PowaCage power unit – not the full trolley frame.
